Hybrids are a relatively new species comparatively. They began to appear a couple of centuries ago, and according to some were created or were experiments of the gods. Hybrids are humanoid dragons essentially (kind of look at the picture at the top of the site). Their natural forms have muzzles, scales, and a tail, but they stand on two feet and retain something properties of humans, such as they remain around the size of a human. They also keep their hair in their hybrid form. However they do have a human form they can use as a disguise but it can sometimes be hard for them to stay in for long depending on their control.

Just like the dragons of Ildhineth, hybrids also possess the ability to breath fire or another substance. Additionally they can have other areas of specialty, when creating a hybrid you get an ability of your choice as well. It is rare but some even have wings and can fly with them.

Hybrids can come from unions between two hybrids, a hybrid and a human, or a dragon and a human. However it is rarer for a hybrid to be born from a human parent than two hybrids and even rarer to be born from hybrid/human parents than dragon/human parents.

The hybrids have a long lifespan of anywhere from 600 to 700 years naturally, much longer than a human's but less than a dragon's.

Hybrids do not really have any royalty or leader. If they choose they can be part of a sect but only those that are willing to accepted hybrids into their ranks. Many though just live among the humans unattached to any sect.
